Monumental Work![]() The Confluence Project is a series of unprecedented public artworks by renown artist Maya Lin, creator of the Viet Nam Veterans Memorial. Located in Washington and Oregon, the Confluence Project sites, which may include both building and landscape designs as well as integrated artwork, will be located at key confluences of the Columbia River and its tributaries. Hot Pepper Studios created the Confluence web site, which includes sections to Discover more about the artist and history of the project, Experience a virtual tour of the sites via an animated Flash piece and Exchange ideas with the Confluence team and find news, events and sponsor information. The site also connects with communities and schools along the Columbia River Basin through an education and outreach program. Through place and art, the project's goal is to reflect a consciousness of the tremendous changes set in motion by the Corps of Discovery in the NorthwestÑon its native people and environment. Our studio is also producing a documentary on the Confluence Project, which is expected to be completed in 2008. Don't pop your popcorn yet.
