A joint production of PBS, ABC and Oregon Public Broadcasting, Life360 is an Emmy award-winning program that focused on themes from the threads of life. Of course, the Web site had to live up to the high standard of the broadcast, with engaging content that both educated and entertained its viewers with some information based on the program, and some that went beyond it.

Hot Pepper Studios created a site with stories that connected to the themes of the show, yet explored them in a new and unexpected way. Using dramatic photos and a slightly skewed perspective, we created an environment where viewers could learn more about themselves, their world and all the strange and wonderful people that inhabit it.

Featured on the site are a neat assortment of interactive pieces, such as:

Life and Times of Jim Crow. An exploration of the laws and customs of racism in America.

Match Wits with a Ten. In 2003, the National Geography Bee was won by a 10-year-old. Compare your brain.

An Ordinary Hero. The story of an ordinary man who saved the lives of over 50 men in Viet Nam.

Science of Flies. Investigate the amazing aerodynamics and bioengineering of the common housefly.

As a testiment to the site's success, many of our web stories transcended the normal confines of web content won high praise from Dan Morris, the serie's executive producer. And in an honor not bestowed upon many, the site was featured prominently on the PBS.org home page each week the show aired.
